Click Here to view the Principal's LetterParent Conferences will be held Tuesday, February 23 and Thursday, February 25 from 3:50pm to 7:05pm.The teachers at Forest Heights Middle School know that you are interested in the academic progress of your child. We are inviting all parents to attend a conference with their child's teachers. We hope that you will be able to attend this important conference. The Arkansas Standard states that two documented conferences must be held for all students. Students who are not proficient in math and literacy may be retained in their current grade if parents do not attend their conference. During these conferences, Academic Improvement Plans (AIP's) are developed with input from parents to remediate students' deficient areas. Parents must sign the AIP verifying their involvement in the plan. We hope you are able to come. Please contact your child's teachers and schedule a conference time to ensure that you are able to meet. All conferences will be held in the classrooms with the exception of the Related Arts teachers who will meet in the Media Center. Thank you for your support!

This year each student at FHMS is expected to read 25 books. The purpose of this is to expand the vocabulary of students, to help your child become a fluent reader, and to instill in your child a love of reading.
Please help your child by providing books on their level in the home.
This is a reward’s based program. Students will receive an incentive/reward at 6, 12, 18 and then 25 books.
A brochure is being sent home by your child in regard to this program.
